Now both of these issues are okay now but no WiFi. One other piece of info, I have alway had an intermittant issue with the the volume - Treble and Bass flashing on the screen or my WiFi light going off and on occasionally after a couple hours of use. I tried Intel's Manual Diagnostics Tool and it failed the Association Test, i.e., no link between the devices. Also, I am using an ASUS Dual Band 3x3 802.11AC Gigbit Router.
All my apple products work on WiFi (2 iPads and 2 iPhones). I have checked with my cable provider and Microsoft and both say it's the adapter. I have a Pavilion dv8t -1000 notebook PC (NQ226AV) windows 7 Pro that apparently has an adapter that will not connect to my rounter.
